Masters Swimming Australia Coach of the Year 2019 Award
This national award recognises the huge amount of work that Greg has done in his coaching role within Tuggeranong Masters Swimming ACT as a club and acknowledges Greg's outstanding contribution to coaching and towards the development of coaching at all levels of Masters Swimming within Australia.
2017 Annual Club Awards & Xmas Bowls
Following an afternoon of bowls, Club President Greg Gourley gathered attendees together in Tuggeranong Vikings Club early in the evening of 10 December 2017 to congratulate all swimmers and coaches on a year of successes - both at individual and club level.
The Tuggeranong Challenge 2017 | “The Richard Flockart Edition” | 16 September 2017
The Tuggeranong Challenge 2017 - The Richard Flockart Edition took place at Lakeside Leisure Centre on Saturday, 16 September 2017. This special edition of our regular Challenge meet included a 25m Butterfly event “THE FLOCKART FLYER” which took place at the start of the meet and was swum in memory of Richard Flockart.
FINA World Championships Budapest | August 2017
Two of our Vikings crew Caz Makin and Andreas Falkenau headed back to Europe where they originally came from to attend the 17th FINA World Mastes Swimming Championships in Budapest for the swimming events held from 10-20 August 2017!
British Masters Swimming Open Water Nationals | 30 July 2017
We received hot news about our Club Captain, Caz Makin, from the UK at the end of July 2017.
Caz WON her F45-49 age group at the British Masters Swimming Open Water Nationals in Sheffield, England, and was 8th fastest overall from 81 Female swimmers.
