Our sessions

Our club offers training sessions with qualified Masters coaches who tailor sessions to accommodate all levels and interests, including stroke correction, recreational swimming, competitive pool racing and open-water swimming.

We also run Endurance 1000 sessions for swimmers interested in that program.

Session times

Session types

Training

Structured sessions led by a coach on pool deck. Sessions generally include a warm-up, drills/technique, build/pre-set, main set and cool down. Swimmers are allocated to lanes by the coach depending on their speed and the session content.

Endurance 1000

Choice sessions where swimmers determine what they will swim across all strokes from a program of 400m, 800m, 1500m, 30 min, 45 min and 60 min swims. Swims are timed and are entered into the National Endurance 1000 Program and points are awarded.

Uncoached

Freestyle-focused sessions designed for training for longer distances and open water swims, aimed at building endurance and refining pacing. The coach swims these sets alongside the swimmers and the session program is provided by email before the session.
