Twelve tackle the 2024 MSNSW Long Distance Long Course Championships

On 24 November 2024, twelve Tuggeranong swimmers made a quick day trip to Sydney for the NSW Long Distance Long Course Championships held at Granville Pool. Under hot sunny conditions, our swimmers had an enjoyable day and swam well.

Our new member, Darryl M, swam a 1500m Freestyle and it was terrific to have Nicolee and Suzie join us after a long break from pool competition. Anne S, Brenda, Caz, Christine M, Di, Donna, Jeanette, Kristi, and Kylie also represented the club. There were plenty of medal placings, and Tuggeranong finished in third place overall.

Our swimmers took part in the following events and earned some Endurance 1000 points for the club:

1500m Freestyle: Anne, Brenda, Caz, Christine, Darryl, Donna, Nicolee, Suzie
800m Backstroke: Jeanette
800m Individual Medely: Kylie
400m Freestyle: Di, Nicolee, Suzie, Jeanette, Kristi
400m Breaststroke: Caz
400m Backstroke: Anne
400m Butterfly: Kylie
400m Individual Medley: Kristi
