Elizabeth Merenda awarded top female swimmer at the NSW SC Championships 2022

Congratulations! to our Viking. Elizabeth Merenda, who competes in the 40-44 age group and wasnamed the ‘Female Swimmer of the Meet’ for the NSW SC Championships 2022 which were incorporated in the Masters Swimming Australia National Championships held in Sydney in April 2002, gaining the highest number of Fina points for a female NSW swimmer across the 4 days of the meet.

Elizabeth also broke NSW State Records in the 100m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, and 200m Individual Medley during the meet.

Elizabeth was presented with her trophy for her award and her State record certificates at the Tuggeranong Time Trials held on Saturday, 17 September 2022.
